I am so nervous about Obama tomorrow. It seems that a lot of people are planning on celebrating tomorrow b/c they just know that we have it in the bag.
I’m not trying to be pessimistic at all but didn’t we think we had it in the bag the last time? And the time before that? Republicans have a tendency to pull a lot of dirty tricks at the last minute.
I am going to say prayers all day! We need Barack! We need Michelle! I am hoping that our voices really were heard and that Barack pulls through. I am also worried about the morale of the young who went out and voted…if Barack loses, will this dissuade them from voting again? Will they ‘lose it’ and think that voting just doesn’t matter?
Here’s to high hopes….and change.

well, not all young people are voting for obama.. around half are voting for mccain. so, there will be close to 50% of people who are disappointed tomorrow either way, same as there are in any election. if that keeps people from voting in the future, that’s their own ignorance.
Alexis:Yeah I’m nervous too, and as an 18 year old first time vote I can’t lie, if he doesn’t win I will be really discouraged, not because the guy I voted for didn’t win. But because Bush already “won” once, won twice and if McCain/Bush wins a third time…i mean come the fuck on. Give me a break!…I would be upset. But i would definitely still exercise my right to vote.
