in their defense (not that it can really be defended), there were lots and lots of reports from highschools from the days following the election where black kids were going around making comments like that to white kids, “who’s the minority now?” “who’s gonna be pickin the cotton now?” bla bla bla.. i even heard about a few instances from my school teacher friend. so this goes both ways. and quite possibly, these girls could’ve heard some of those remarks at school, and that’s what sparked this.
