I am really good friends with this girl who always complains about her boyfriend. He cheats on her, lies, treats her like ish etc. yet she stays. But every time he does something she calls me n tells me and asks for advice. And I tell her maybe she should just break up with him and move on. And she still stays, but damn I'm gettin sick of her calling me whining about the same problems when my advice isn't gonna change!! She's my girl and I'm there for her, but would it be rude to tell her I don't want to discuss your boyfriend or anything to do with him, because she keeps coming to me with the same rants and she keeps allowing it to happen? or continue to be her shoulder to cry on, because that's what friends are for?
